3. Mobile App Privacy (TallyCrew App)

- Some data is cached locally on your device using AsyncStorage
- Local data enables offline functionality and faster app performance
- Local data is automatically synchronized when you're online
- You can clear local data by logging out or uninstalling the app

Important: We do NOT use analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
TallyCrew does not integrate with Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising platforms.

With Group Members:
- When you join a group, your name and profile picture are visible to other members
- Group expenses and splits are visible to all group members
- Group balances and settlement information are shared within the group
With Friends:
- When you add a friend, they can see your name and profile picture
- Individual debts are only visible to you and the friend involved
For Payment Processing:
- Your PayPal email is shared only when you initiate or receive a payment
- Payment information is processed securely through PayPal
We NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Your data is yours. We do not share your information with advertisers, marketers, or any other third parties for their commercial purposes.
3.6 Your Rights
Under data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the following rights:

- You can view all your data within the app at any time

- Note: Shared expense records in groups may remain visible to other members

3.7 Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy.
Active Accounts:
- Your data is retained while your account is active
- You can access and manage your data at any time
Account Deletion:
- When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed
- Deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone
- Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes (e.g., fraud prevention)
- Shared expense records in groups may remain visible to other members after deletion
Inactive Accounts:
- We do not automatically delete inactive accounts
- Your data remains accessible when you return to the app
- You can delete your account at any time if you no longer wish to use TallyCrew
4. Children's Privacy
TallyCrew is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use TallyCrew or provide any information to us.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@confirm.tallycrew.com.
For users in certain jurisdictions, the minimum age may be higher (e.g., 16 in the EU). Please ensure you meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction before using TallyCrew.

TallyCrew uses Supabase for data storage and processing. Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located in different countries, including countries outside of your country of residence.
